LONDON FASHION WEEKEND...you did not disappoint.

The catwalk collections were such an eclectic mixture of styles, a smorges board if you will. It consisted of three sections; Candy Rock, Swallows and Amazons and finally Vintage Glamour by Shikasuki. Candy Rock featured pieces by Jasper Conran, Belle & Bunty, Jaegar, Ream and Ioannis Dimitrousis. It was a 'kooky' section with many of models wearing vintage 'nerd' glasses, yet also included soft, lingerie-esque feel to it.
Swallows and Amazons on the other hand was much more boho and playful featuring Twenty8twelve pieces (Sienna and Savannah Miller's line), Jaegar again, Reem, Eley Kishimoto, Frostfrench (Sadie Frost and Jemima French's line) and the boho creator herself Alice Temperley. This collection not only featured many of Jude Law's ex's designs but also lots of sorbet coloured pop socks. This look looked playful on the catwalk and it will be interesting how it is applied to the 'real world'.
The final collection was my favourite; Vintage Glamour. It featured beautiful dresses by Jack Bryan, Zandra Rhodes, Ossie Clark, Biba and Benet. Every piece was accessorized with ornate 50's vintage bags... absolute perfection! The dresses were flattering, flowing and fresh despite being defined as vintage. Pastels dominated the colour pallet not only in this collection but all three, bringing a fresh and youthful vibrance to the catwalk.
There was also a sneak preview of Betty Jacksons collection, which too included nudes and pastels and had a huge nightwear/ soft silk influence.
Here are a few photographs of my favourites...(more to come later on.)

I came away with a few purchases too, a beautiful brown leather Luella tote, a few rings and a new leather jacket.
